Learn the Dance, Break the Record, Help the Cruz Roja!

Did you ever want to dress up as a zombie and dance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”? Did you ever think it would be fun to be listed in a world record?

Thrill The World is friends, families and other local residents who each year join together with thousands of other people around the globe to break the World Record for the Largest Simultaneous Dance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”!
TTW is more than just dancing to a 6 minute song–

The broader goal is to unity among all the peoples of the world, humanitarianism and environmental stewardship...




WELCOME TO THRILL THE WORLD 2015!

Funky Zombies all over the globe are already planning for Thrill The World 2013. The event was founded in 2006 in Toronto, and has now spread to six continents. Every October thousands of people/zombies around the world come together to honor the genius of Michael Jackson and raise funds for charity–oh... and to have fun, too!
     There will be workshops starting on September 19th. On Saturdays, they will be at the Club Exotica on Ajijic Plaza, (behind the Restaurant El Jardin) and from 1:00 to 3:00, and Wednesdays from 5:00 to 7;00. . Rehearsals are for your convenience, come to as many as you feel comfortable with. Remember, you only have to dance as well as a Zombie!
      If travel or other obligations prevent you from attending as many rehearsals as you like, you can always access everything you need by clicking on "Video Lesson" and "Dance Script." We want you be there, and the number of Zombies present is much more important than the quality of their dancing. I promise!
  On the Zombie News front page, there will be updates, information, and the daily lesson, also updated on our facebook page. If you need to refer to a lesson, you can find them in order under those same tabs that say Video Instruction and  Dance Script. You can email me at any time: ttwajijic@gmail.com. FAQ's

When is it too late to join Thrill The World?

It really never is. Last year we had people join us while we were actually dancing! There will be practices up until the last minute.

How good a dancer do I have to be?

This is your chance to be in a flashmob,  whether you've got two left feet or two right feet or feet that feel like they don't belong to you at all! Zombies are terrible dancers. The lessons are organized in a way that make it accessible for the most committed non-dancer.

I need help with costuming

And help you shall have! I'll be posting links to give you ideas on make-up and costumes. And on Thrill Day, our Make Up artists, who have become famous for turning out horrible and beautiful Zombies will be available for a fee. Proceeds go to the Red Cross.
